We recommend you carry a Twinject ™ epinephrine auto-injector, because one Twinject ™ contains two doses of epinephrine in a small, durable, easy to carry case. It is important to carry two doses of epinephrine, because one out of three anaphylaxis episodes will require a second dose of epinephrine. The patient could die without that second dose which may be necessary in minutes.  You must discuss your knowledge of and training on anaphylaxis and Twinject ™ with your physician/healthcare provider so that he/she can delegate the use of and give you a prescription for Twinject ™.

The price of a single Twinject ™ with two doses of epinephrine is about $78, whereas the price of two EpiPens (you need two because there is only one dose per device) is about $115. Of course these prices are always changing  Bottom line is One Smaller Twinject is easier to carry that TWO LARGER new style EPI Pens and about the same price. Carried by all pharmacies  or IF OUT OF STOCK often due to demand available on order in 24 hrs.
