Twinject™ epinephrine auto-injector

We recommend you carry a Twinject ™ epinephrine auto-injector, since each device contains two doses of epinephrine in a small, durable case. It is important to carry two doses of epinephrine, since one out of three anaphylaxis episodes will require treatment with more than one dose of epinephrine. You should discuss your knowledge of and training on anaphylaxis and Twinject ™ with your physician/healthcare provider so that he/she can delegate the use of and give you a prescription for Twinject ™. The price of a single Twinject ™ with two doses of epinephrine is about $78, whereas the price of two EpiPens (you need two because there is only one dose per device) is about $115. An EpiPen is not the same as Twinject ™.
